Our Mission

Who We Are

“To Know God and Equip His Servants”

Calvary Chapel Bible College was founded in 1975 as a short, intensive study program. It was developed as a part
of Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa’s overall vision to equip the people of God for His service. Throughout its history, CCBC has remained true to its initial vision: to provide a place where serious and committed Christians can learn the Word of God and draw closer to Jesus.

What We Do

“To build up the church of Jesus Christ through the teaching of the Word of God & the ministry of the Holy Spirit”

Our great desire at Calvary Chapel Bible College is still to see each student totally committed and abandoned to Jesus Christ, loving Him with all their hearts. We purpose to give students the whole counsel of God, from Genesis to Revelation, which is sufficient to equip. On campus, students have the opportunity to study God’s Word as it leads them into a deeper relationship with Christ. They are provided with in-depth verse-by-verse teaching, Spirit- filled worship, and student-designed fellowship events that bless, challenge, and ultimately strengthen them in their spiritual walk. CCBC offers both Associates and Bachelor degrees in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Missions and Christians Leadership. Classes include Missions, Church Planting, Apologetics, Bible Study Methods, Homiletics, and more.

Where We’re Going

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” Matthew 28:19

As the body of Christ, we have been commissioned to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” Here at CCBC our heart has always been to equip students to carry out the Great Commission wherever the Lord sends them. With that focus, Calvary Chapel Bible College is launching the All Nations Grant Program. This program will provide underprivileged international students with full scholarships to attend CCBC for two years and attain an Associates Degree. Once they have graduated from our two year program they will be sent back into their home countries fully equipped to carry out the Great Commission in their own communities as well as other unreached nations. During their stay here each student will partner with a local church for mentorship as well as continued communication and support as they are sent into all the world to preach the gospel and share the love of Christ.

The All Nations Grant Program will host our first fundraising event on September 14th at 12pm at Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach. Proceeds from the All Nations Luncheon will provide the support to grant full scholarships to 25 underprivileged international students. If the students who are approved for this grant are unable to obtain a visa or flight to travel to the United States then they will have the option to study at CCBC online through distance education while remaining in their home country.
